Foot warts occur almost exclusively during the earlier years of life — from early childhood to early adulthood.
A thickened callus is often formed over foot warts, and they can be extremely painful.
Treatment of foot warts by a podiatrist often consists of:
(1) protecting the areas of the foot warts from extra pressure.
(2) dissolving the wart with a topical agent.
(3) As a last resort, surgical removal of the foot warts by laser.
